I am M A Ranganath – eldest Son of Late M A Parthasarathy (Jayanagar) & grandson of Late M A Rangachar & Singaramma, Shri. Rangachar was the younger brother of Late Peri Lakshmi Tathachar (grandfather of Late. Lakshmithathachar about whom I am writing). I have known about the Family lineage from this generation till the present one (five generations). I am in touch with most of the kith and kin of (1st/2nd cousins including nephews/nieces) through social media. Prof. Lakshmi Tathachar was the eldest Son of Sri Alwar Thirumalai Iyengar (son of Peri Lakshmi Tatachar) who was my father's Acharya being one of the first ones to have got the Samashrayanam from Him. He was the Principal of The Sanskrit College, Melkote and my father & He were very close.

ಓಂ ನಮೋ ನಾರಾಯಣಾಯ
ನಮ್ಮ ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಅಣ್ಣನವರ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಒಂದೆರಡು ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಇಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರು ಸದಾ ಹಸನ್ಮುಖಿ, ಶ್ರಮಜೀವಿ, ಧೈರ್ಯಶಾಲಿ, ಕರುಣಾಮಯಿ. ಬೇರೆಯವರ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಮರುಗಿ ಏನು ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಕಷ್ಟಕಾರ್ಪಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತೋರಿಸುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಮದುವೆ ಆದಾಗಲಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸಾರವೂ ಅವರ ಸಂಸಾರವೂ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದವು. ಅವರ ಸರಳ ಮನೋಭಾವ ನಮಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಿಡಿಸಿತ್ತು. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸಾರವು ಸಮರಸವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಾನು ಅಡುಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವರು ತುಂಬಾ ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ಊಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಭಾಗ್ಯ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

Sri M.A.Lakshmithathacharya was our revered brother loved by one and all in our family. I am proud to identify myself as his sister. Usually people ask us, “Are you the sister of M.A. Lakshmithathacharya?” We say immediately “Yes, yes” and earn respect from them.
The reason is, he was a person who achieved so much and secured a high position in so many fields. He worked hard for this by sacrificing his body, mind and soul.
